 Can AI Replace Priesthood?

  My answer is NO. A group of 12th-grade students from different parishes attended a vocation camp. On the last day of camp, the candidates were asked to gather in a hall for a group interview with the bishop and the formators. Bishop asked, “Why do you want to become a priest?”. Many answered to proclaim the word of God; a few answered to serve the needy and only one boy, named Arun answered to celebrate Mass because only a priest can celebrate the Mass which cannot be done by anyone.

“Except priest through whom He (God) meets His faithful” (Heb 10:5-7)

 Everyone can be the best Doctor, Teacher, preacher, painter, guitarist, etc. The man-made AI can make those or’s and er’s but only a priest can be a priest (1Pet 2:9). There is no one to replace the priest except the high priest Jesus who made a way to make AI by his cross and resurrection

 AI (Artificial Intelligence) which is for humans and from humans can fail when we miscode it but a priest in God and from of God will never fail to explain the need to the faithful with the helpful HI (Holy Spirit intelligence). Since His (God's) year does not fail and his year is ever-present as today (Ps110:11)

 AI can mislead and give misdeeds but a priest in God, a priest for God, a priest from God who is for good will never mislead or give misdeeds (Heb 5:1)

 ‘Priest’ is an ambiguous one so let us assure our prayers to them every day.

“Let us never grow tired of doing what is right” (Gal 6:9)

"Let us make humankind …." - (Genesis: 1:26) The Supreme Being, God made humankind in his own image and likeness, so Gad is a creator. As human beings and supreme creatures, we are also creators, because we create artificial humankind in our own image and likeness. It is not to say that we are God. God made us out of nothing, but we created things out of something. But, it gives emptiness and un-satisfaction. So now humans have updated the technology from 3G, 4G, 5G and the extreme level of creating artificial humankind. Since every creation of God has a purpose, human beings also create AI with a purpose. This man made, Cannot replace God made. A great example is our body which is everlastingly updated.
